I don't have a lot of advice here, because I only stopped in Vaduz for less than an hour. The main pedestrian street (where the tourist info office is), is littered with souvenir shops that sell the usual tourist tchotchkies - albeit most of them are from Switzerland. You see, Liechtenstein is only 61 sq. mi. There are postcards galore at these shops - but be forewarned, many of them are from Switzerland.
The tourist office had the same postcards as the shops at a slightly higher price. If you are looking for used postage stamps from around the world, Vaduz is the place. If you want postcards with cancelled stamps (like first day covers), check near the cash register - there is usually a box of them.
And, I highly recommend paying the 3SFR (or €2,00) for the stamp in your passport at the Tourist Information Office!
