The first is from North Pole, AK. As I understand the instructions, all I need to do is address a postcard to myself and affix a US postage stamp. Then mail it in a large envelope to:

before December 10, 2012. They will send my postcard back to me with a special North Pole canellation on it.
The other Christmas themed cancellation is from Santa Claus, IN. Their postmark is designed by a local high school student each year. They suggest leaving a 2" x 4" space in the stamp area for the picture postmark. The postmark is available working days on Dec. 1 through Dec. 24. You must request the picture postmark. There is no charge for the postmark, but out of respect (since they hand cancel tens of thousands or cards & envelopes), there is a 50 picture postmark limit per person.
