Tuesday Post: Triangle Postcard Stamps

As excited as I was about getting a round stamp to mail postcards internationally, I would be equally as excited, if not more if we had triangular stamps for domestic postcards.  Just sayin'.

  1. This Jamestown is over-franking for a postcard, but is my favorite triangle postage ... http://arago.si.edu/index.asp?con=1&cmd=1&mode=1&tid=2046819&

What are you using for the extra 1¢ on these?

  2. I had not seen the Jamestown stamps - I'll have to keep my eye out for those at the stamp store. I have not purchased any of the stamps in the photo, so I haven't needed to figure out 1¢ postage. I would probably use an engraved one like this - it is one of my favorite styles of stamps: http://www.mysticstamp.com/viewProducts.asp?sku=331

    1. although not that precise stamp as it is $12 - there are other engraved stamps that are closer to face value.
